About The Hills Players

The theatre appeals to many people, those who long for the limelight and those who prefer the technical side of production, costume and set design, stage management or just being a part of an exciting adventure.

Above all, we have fun!

Members enjoy the cut and thrust of finding a play to present, selecting a director, choosing the cast and putting on the show. We are an extremely democratic company. Officers are elected every year, and it is rare for any person to serve in an office for more than two consecutive years. We like everyone to have a go. But on the other hand, no one is harassed to take any role they don't want to do. At The Hills Players, you will find encouragement rather than criticism, the enjoyment of achievement, and the ability to laugh at ourselves.

If you think that theatre may be of interest to you, come along and join in. You've nothing to lose but your inhibitions. We meet every Monday and most Wednesdays at 7.30 pm (meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7.00 pm) at St Matthew's Church, Church Hall, Church Street, Mitchelton.
